Babsie is a fine art newborn baby photographer in North County San Diego, California. Known for her clean aesthetics, her portraits are light, dreamy, emotional, and timeless. All sessions are artistically styled and photographed by Babsie.
Her background in photography is extensive with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design and photography. With over 10 years of photography experience, she continued her studies by further educating herself with baby safety. Babsie takes safety extremely serious with it being first priority when handling newborns. She has invested heavily into newborn education and is passionate about creating meaningful portraits that tell a story with a high quality standard. Babsie Baby Photography delivers timeless art and is grateful for her clients who appreciate the process of it.

As a hybrid photographer, I shoot in two different formats, film and digital. This gives me creative range to shoot in different settings and environments. I choose to incorporate film into my workflow because it allows for intentional images that evoke emotion with painterly tones.

I work alongside my sweetheart and business partner, Michael, to document and curate every story. He is an amazing asset to my workflow who provides second shooting coverage with a fresh perspective. By having two artists to narrate and guide, we are able to capture all the beautiful moments and details throughout the day. Driven by honesty, kindness, and professionalism - we strive to provide an exceptional experience that is smooth and unobtrusive while thoughtfully composing imagery for every couple.

A graphic designer, a fine art photographer & videographer with a background in color theory, and natural/studio lighting.
With a BFA degree in photography and graphic design, I'm passionate about creating natural, graceful imagery that is meaningful and timeless. With an eye for photojournalism and editorial design, I love to blend both styles into my workflow. I concentrate on all elements of the day for my clients - focusing on how the light impacts the imagery and guiding all subjects into flattering compositions/angles with natural, authentic poses. I'm proactive and hands on where assistance is needed - whether that be adjusting the wedding dress train or veil, fixing visible hair strands, directing into the best light, and finding the best locations to capture the couple, etc.
